My first thought was, "Awww - nobody likes the guy anymore? Maybe they found out he wasn't a real Nazi guard, and that made him look like a big liar?"

That's when I realized "appeal" meant "legal appeal".

Oh, they're terribly affectionate and totally need us humans - and not just as food machines. Ok, possibly as warmth generators, although that doesn't explain the look of love that our cats get when they start to pat our faces, then flop over, helpless and totally happy.

My dad still talks about my first cat, who only interacted with him at 5:30 a.m. when she wanted to get fed (she would stand by him, purring so furiously that she drooled on him). Then I had a cat w/the ex-fiance when we moved to WI. That thing was annoying, but I could never figure out why. Since then, I think I've been lucky. *cross fingers*

I'm sure there were a few Nazis who couldn't get girls. How's about that for making you feel like a loser. Even ugly, gross, Hitler got the girls and you're drinking yourself to sleep wishing you had some "uber alles".
