Oooh--palindrome time

Will the real archivists come out and hurt me if they know I'm eating an orange at my desk? And don't wash my hands after everytime I come back from having a cigarette? (I'm not handling priceless artifacts, but there are times I'm looking at photographs at my computer, w/20 oz Diet Pepsi nearby, and I have to wonder if I'm not violating some major archival rules).

I was thinking the same thing this weekend!

I was volunteering at the historical society, and this time I didn't have a project. I was just waiting for any potential visitors so that I could give a tour because the curator had the day off. So, I brought my homework to do instead and I was sitting at the curator's desk (which in this place is in the kitchen...long story...) with my laptop drinking this big glass of water. And then I realized that I was sitting with and among all sorts of paper documentation and artifacts.

I thought to myself: "Hmmm...I wonder if I should move this here glass of water...." :):)

Well, that's strangely coincidental. Still, water is better than diet Pepsi & oranges :)
