Me & rhubarb pie
May. 15th, 2004 05:15 pmStop me before I cook again...
I may have used the 2-cup measuring cup instead of the 1-cup measuring cup when I measured out 1 1/4 cups sugar (aside from the fact that I was first going to put in 1 1/4 cups of flour & 1/3 cup sugar instead of the other way around). And I forgot to put butter on the top of the mixture after putting the 2nd crust on the top, so I had to peel the top crust off to get the butter in there.
I have no idea what happened to whatever incling of cooking sense I at one point had.

Date: 2004-05-16 01:44 pm (UTC)I have to get the rhubarb crisp recipe, and any other you may have around. The pie recipe gets a little old after the third or so time. I only picked 1/2 of the rhubarb currently coming up.
My problem w/ cooking usually is following my instincts. I'm glad I'm not a 50s wife.
