I came across this a month or two ago - these girls keep trying to contact me and I think *I'm* the only one... when it turns out they're bugging other people!

I have a free e-mail service, where I recently changed my profile from Mike R___ to M.E. R___. I have noticed that the sideline ads promoting on-line dating with pictures of "cute" and "available" women has changed to displaying picture of available men. I'd just as soon have neither type of ad. It's just amusing how much people and 'bots assume about one based on little or no information.

My spam folder is usually pretty full, but I have to look at it and not just blanket delete, becasue occasionally there will be an LJ comment notification buried in there.

(I'm guessing that CuteNHorny girl might not actually be a girl)

Is he/she trying to IM? I always delete those instant message thingies. I have yet to see any IMs from people I know show up there.
