Lucky today with the internet stuff
Dec. 14th, 2011 09:29 pmI found a bunch of very interesting things today on the internet (well, really, others directed me to a bunch of interesting things today on the internet; the only thing I found was a photo of a chicken):
Photo of a chicken from our state's historical society:

Just out of nowhere, it is striking. Well, no: it's just silly. What's up with that chicken? Why's it there? What's it thinking?
Then, we come to explosions.
CLICK THIS LINK. IT WILL MAKE YOU LAUGH.
Finally, on a totally different note, we come to Isaac Newton. Not him so much, but Neil DeGrasse Tyson (Director of the Hayden Planetarium), talking about Newton. "We've got people slogging through calculus in college just to learn what it is that Isaac Newton learned on a dare, basically."
That link was because someone had written that Cambridge University put Newton's notebooks on-line.
