Molle Mystery Theater: "Angel Face"
So far, Dolores has fooled some guy into stealing $20k, then called her partner. Oh, good - her submissiveness was starting to get on my nerves. She's good at sounding all sweet until the deal is sealed, then her voice goes down a few notes.
Hmm - she's annoying both ways. At least she has guts this way.
Ugh - they're burying a guy underground.
Oooh - nice twist on the ending! Angel Face got hers.
Philip Marlowe: "Red Wind"
Something's up with a string of pearls and a clasp - huh. Makes me think there's more to the story, b/c all they care about is the clasp.
Nope! The woman just wanted the clasp b/c of her husband.... I don't know - it's Philip Marlowe - always confusing, unless you pay attention (and I didn't, not enough).
But, luckily, the Marines are advertising. It's 1948 - I wonder what they were up to.... Correspondence courses, for one.
Counterspy: "Cold-Blooded Professor, Part II":
As always, I chuckle that Pepsi tells you that you get two full servings of Pepsi with their 12 oz bottles. I wonder what they would think about 40 oz Big Gulps?
.... The guys at Counterspy must rely on... librarians! To catch their professor. I think they'll do well.
Hall of Fantasy: Demon of the Night:
Werewolf story. Good idea on the part of a cop trying to catch the deadly werewolf: bring along the reporter for law enforcement. He was forward thinking, though - the cop brought 2 guns (so at least the reporter is loaded).
