What's under your bed?
- I wish I could say what kalimama did, "a big bag full of sex toys!" No, I've still got a box of sex paraphenalia next to the bed. So, an old pair of shoes, about 1 sock, lots of feathers from my ratty down comforter (which is probably not a correct description of a down comforter), and a bug screen for the window in our room.

What time did you wake up today?
- 7:15 or so.

Current hair?
- just under the chin, non-dyed although the wash out dye still clings on, and my nice little white streak is reappearing. It's a bob, sort of.

Current worry?
- finishing this project, paying bills, getting sex, marriage, kids, how much crap is in my car, how funky it smells by my desk at work, will I ever finish my book, will I ever practice the flute again, can I get through house opening w/out freaking out, how much money are they going to pay me w/this grant

If you could play an instrument?
- flute, better than I do.

- blue or purple.

- spring (but really that's only the prelude to the full burst of humid, hot summer when the cicadas sing so much at first you go crazy, and then they become the background noise)

Well Kieran, last night on "extreme makeover" I heard the fashion guy say that when there is something you say you will NEVER wear, it's exactly the thing you SHOULD wear... keeping that in mind, maybe it's time for the dominatrix outfit. I've been considering a sie gig in that very vein, actually. I need someone to worship me in the exact way I tell them to, whenever I tell them to. HA! BTW, has your package arrived yet?

I saw that too. Total mind candy. I liked the guy before the makeover, myself. I wouldn't mind a leather lace up corset, but it's the shoes that get to me (well, and uncomfortable thoughts regarding my sister and how silly I think the whole thing is when I'm not freaked out about it for reasons I can't explain even to myself).

I haven't gotten the present, but they've been known to show up at the post office instead of home if they're a certain size. I thought about going to the PO today, but work called. Gives me a reason to stop by tomorrow!

I don't think she'd see it that way. Those in S/M sometimes feel like they approach sex more honestly (my studies in queer theory are coming out). Me, though, I have no kinks that I'm aware of, though I'd sometimes like to ;P

My sisters are among the most interesting parts of me.

I got the presents today, thank you! I'm wearing the earring and the colors on the bracelet are perfect shades of blue 'n green. I'm thinking summer clothes. The most endearing was the note--thank you, that was so sweet. You're certainly worth it.

I usually forget to be encouraging to friends in rl. I'm always thinking, "oh wait, oh yeah, I should have said something good about that... thing..." Writing allows the time to consider all the possibilities. Have a good few days off.
