Mar. 19th, 2004 08:08 amTalked to my mom last night. My father's b-day was March 17, which I missed, but that's ok because he was out all this week on business. Asked her how she's doing, and I forgot, but Thursday's chemo day. It just makes her tired. Looks like they'll take her off chemo for a few weeks, operate in about mid-April to try to get at the tumor, and put her back on chemo.
In other news, my two sisters called on dad's birthday, and my oldest sister put my niece on the phone, who said, "I love you gramma," and "good bye gramma". That's a good one. Of course, it occurs to me that Q thought she was speaking to the grandmother she sees more often, mommy's mom instead of my sister's mom, but what the hell. Make an old lady happy.
And I was dreaming about Tal. again last night/this morning. I was looking at different plaster colors in the front office next to the drafting studio and trying to chose the perfect shade of Cherokee Red. Damn, it's not like I don't have enough of my life filled with that stupid stuff. I'll be in the old folks home and screaming about Cherokee Red, I just know it.
