I got up and came downstairs to get some water, and as it's 5 am, I looked out the front door to the still-dark night. I realized that, despite my vision that I had the other day of spring, that I've come to the part of winter where I cannot believe anymore that it will ever be warm again. That I'll be able to leave the house without a coat (sometimes even without my shoes). That the sun will shine more than 10 hours a day. It's some crazy dream.
