One thing I forgot to write in to coconuthead when she mentioned the "Best of Wham" CD: yes, I have "Wham! UK". Wham! before they were Wham! And, one of my absolute favorite songs is (lowers head and mumbles while looking at the ground) "Wham! Rap". I have that song on several tapes and luckily I listen to it in the car, because I look like a fool (thankfully, I manage to keep the car on the road). "1, 2, 3, rap, c'mon everybody don't need this crap!

I feel better now. Or actually, a little worse.

Oh joy!

I share it with my friend DDD. She had a whole set of neon-colored shaker knit sweaters w/matching socks and she & I remember waiting for the bus singing "Wake me up before you go-go," while admitting we were so cool because we knew them when they were Wham! UK.

I think the difference in our ages means that when I think of rollerskating, I hear the distant chimes of late 70s bands.

what? jukebox hero! You get the BOW bu-buh, buh-buh-buh BOW bu-buh, that work so nicely with cheesy disco lights.
