It turns out that mda did not turn my alarm off yesterday. Which means that only one person could have done it: me. This is the second time in about a month in which the alarm was turned off. I have no memory of the event. So, my alarm is across the room. I got up, walked across the room, turned off the alarm, probably with the intention of getting up at that point but instead walked back across the room and into bed.

I would much rather prefer saying really funny things in my sleep like mda.

I do this all the time! Except my alarm is on the bedside table. So, I just haul my arm across and whack the clock. Sometimes I hit snooze, and sometimes I hit the off button. Most of the time, I hit snooze. But every once in a while, I hit the off button and fall back to sleep. Then I wake up 15-20 minutes later, swear, and run around like a maniac trying to get ready and out the door.

Knowing my tendency to sleep through alarms, that's why I put my alarm across the room, so that I would have to move to an upright and walking position.

I tried doing that once. I still figured out a way to turn it off while still in bed. :) I guess that if it means that I can have more sleep, I will figure out a way to do it. :)

Sure, put the alarm at the end of the bed on a table, then leap over diagonally and hit the snooze, then grab the blankets back over you as you land, you're asleep when your head hits the pillow.
