Yuck, sick

I don't really know what's going on, except I feel sort of dippy, am nauseated, and a sore throat showed up sometime last night. Anyway.

mda showed me Wall-E the other night. He got it for x-mas. I thought a movie (initially) about a robot living alone on earth would be depressing, but it's not. It's just adorable, and thrilling, and I have little moments coming back to me all the time. And now I can understand mda saying, "Waaalll-eee" and "E-va" every once in awhile.

Oh, I hope I didn't catch what Kevin had - that sounded truly horrible. Thanks, though. I hope I don't get as bad as he did. We've got our first "Chapter-a-Day" tomorrow at work and I don't want to miss it! A co-worker volunteered to read the upcoming T.C. Boyle book, The Women (http://www.taliesinbookstore.com/store/product.asp?sku=10337) (about that place where I work and the guy who built it), and tomorrow's the first day of reading. I was sent a copy of the book and I've promised not to start it, so I won't know what to do.

1. I recommend getting tested for strep :)
2. Wall-E put me to sleep. More than once. But my kids love it!

1.)My throat isn't hurting too much yet, so I may squeak by. Strep is a big pain.

2.) I'm glad your kids liked Wall-E. I understand the beginning can be hard for smaller kids (since there are no words, it can seem boring).
