-17° F right now (-27° C). Tomorrow, it's supposed to get warmer.

When am I going to get my act together to go down to Arizona? (As soon as I get the money)

But it does have me thinking about it.

I did go down to AZ in July so I wouldn't be accused of only taking advantage of the desert in the winter. Highs were 112 degrees. I stood outside at one point and thought, "Now I KNOW why people DIE in the desert." ;>

I don't think I've actually stood outside in those temps yet this year; and I"m perfectly fine not doing that.

I guess the 10 degree difference is all that "lake effect".

It was a couple degrees below zero when I drove home from Milwaukee on thursday night. My car didn't get up to full temperature for quite a while. And my fingers were numb inside my gloves for most of the trip.

I hate that numb, painful finger experience when driving. Strange thing is, I remember driving to high school, in PA, and having the same problem; but it seriously couldn't have been as cold.

Really, I need to suck it up, b/c there's going to be a good month more of this! :)

I woke up to -21, but now it's 15 above, and I can sure feel the difference. Yay!

Wow - I don't think I've seen that much of a change (-21 to 15 degrees) in quite a while. Although I have been standing out in 15 degree weather and have enjoyed the fact that it doesn't cause pain.
