Thanks to some musical interlude last night on NPR, I know now have a Shania Twain song going through my head. It might be that one about where she likes being a woman. Or something.

DAMN!

I think there is some "woo-ing" in there. I'm hoping that some radio playing later will shake it out of my head.

I heart it, too. I forget the context

I feel like I'm at the local bar during "all-ladies pool club". They used to play that song religiously on their pool nights.

I wish I liked being a woman as much as Shania, and that makes me dislike her even more.

...men's shirts, short skirts...

*laughing* I love that song!

Shania herself isn't so much to write home about, but she's got some good hooks.

It's still showing up in my head, even though I have tried to kick it out in several ways. Oh well. This, too, shall pass.

As I wrote to sacramentalist, I wish I liked being a woman as much as she does. *pout*

ewww!

*must resist song bomb suggestion*

OK, lets think of something else now shall we?

"That's why I'm easy... easy like sunday mornin.....ah AH ooh ah.... that's why I'm EEEEEZZAAAAY...."

Ok, now there's this trainwreck of songs going on: the Shania Train, the theme to Gilligan's Island, "You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch" (that showed up for no reason), the bluegrass version of "Gin & Juice" in my effort to dispell the other stuff, and now... "That's why I'm easy...."

I think I may qualify for some neurological paper if they could just attach the diodes to me in time.

or actually....

It's more like a 40-car pileup on the Los Angeles freeway.

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
A tale of a fateful trip
That started from this tropic port
Aboard this tiny ship.

The mate was a mighty sailing man,
The skipper brave and sure.
Five passengers set sail that day
For a three hour tour, a three hour tour.

The weather started getting rough,
The tiny ship was tossed,
If not for the courage of the fearless crew
The minnow would be lost, the minnow would be lost.

The ship set ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle
With Gilligan
The Skipper too,
The millionaire and his wife,
The movie star
The professor and Mary Ann,
Here on Gilligans Isle.

I am certain I will pay for that.
/soo worth it.

aah!

I glanced at this, and 10 minutes later that song just started going through my head. Although, really: working at a place that has had a three hour tour does make me used to it.

And now I've got that damned Shania Twain song again. sigh. TIme to get out my cure: the bluegrass version of "Gin & Juice".
