weird foot thing

I woke up at 5 a.m. The only reason was the feeling like someone had just put two nails in my left foot. Very painful. Really weird. I went downstairs to check and make sure I didn't have a spider bite or something. There was nothing.

I took aspirin and went back to bed. It doesn't hurt now.

And one of the cats got hurt and bled on his cheek. mda & I can't figure it out: he was on the deck when I came home from work. Both he and his brother were both laying there very happily. Then, several hours later I was looking at him while he laid on the carpet across from me, and he had this spot of blood. There was no sound of a fight or anything. Both times those guys have gotten hurt, to the point of bleeding, there's been, like, no explanation for it.

Maybe his blood and my foot were all caused by the poltergeist in the house.

I think cats conjure up all sorts of symptoms and unexplained phenomena, just so their minders don't take them for granted.

Mosquito bite? Not likely, esp. on the face.

I can only imagine he was up to something he shouldn't have been. There's no way he got attacked by something since it must have happened between the time I got home & when I noticed later (around 10).

I've had an unexplained tenderness of the left foot right behind the toes. Only a problem if I walk barefoot on hard surfaces, so I try to wear shoes. Stabbing pains in the foot don't ring a bell. I like the poltergeist explanation.

Maybe you got a cramp in your foot?? I sometimes get them after wearing the wrong kind of shoes and walking for longer than I should in said shoes.

Naw, I've had those, and this was nothing like that. Poltergeists!
