Eleanor Beardley's voice. She's a reporter for NPR and, man, the way she speaks just drives me crazy. It's kind of nasally, and the cadence always goes down at the end of the sentence, while she simultaneously draws out the words in an almost singsong way.

It's predictable and makes me wonder how the fuck this woman ever got into broadcast journalism with such poor speaking skills. The college I went to had a good broadcast journalism program and the singsongy thing, and the way she drops the ends of her sentences are things that even I was taught about.
Not to mention the fact that Beardsley's always reporting from France and when I hear her say French words, it sounds bad to MY ears; I can't imagine what the French have to deal with.
