Recent Dr Kildare episode

Dr. Kildare (on Old Time Radio Drama) just gave himself an appendectomy. With just his medical bag, some boiled sheets, and a local anesthetic. In the shack of "Peedro" and Maria, no less, lit only by Maria's church candle ("Peedro" and Maria are Mexican immigrants--can't ya tell?--or maybe Peedro's superstition about cars and his love of his burrrrro gave it away).

The doctor's friends got a helicopter to take him to the hospital (what, with all the flash floods blocking the roads), run in to the shack, announce proudly to a fully conscious, post-op, Dr. Kildare that they're ready to take him to the hospital for that appendectomy. Not noticing, apparently, the blood all over the place. Great doctors!

I had to write my mom about that. She doesn't read e-mail much, but I know she has always rolled her eyes at Dr. Kildare (she trained as an RN in the early '60s). I'm beginning to see why.

probably missed the frontal lobotamy show,.. but he still can curcumsise and remove his prostate for future shows,..o.o

Imagine what he could do with more than the light of a single candle... sex change operation!
