I knew I wasn't over 60 words a minute. Really good typists do 60 WPM and above. I think people (really, The Pres Crew Guys) get all gushy b/c we're all in the arts, and they work in construction. This office-type work is overwhelming to both of those fields. Now it's Flinty Jim, but TGreen commented to me once that he liked coming into work early b/c he couldn't take the sound of me typing. I told him that part of the typing sounds he heard was me using the "backspace" key, but he didn't quite believe me.
Still, I've improved since the last typing test I took, about 15 years ago when I had my miniscule temp-job career. I think it was less than 30. Fortunately I don't remember what it was.
