I.e.: Seven of Nine on Voyager. Damn, I'm pretty heterosexual, but even I could not pass by the sight of her high-standing breasts in the series.
I have to say that while originally I gloried in the fact that I was born in "the summer of love" (remember that?), once I learned about that year, I got seriously bummed.
A friend of mine in college was born on April 4, 1968 and I must say that this is the reason why (a) I always remember his birthday and (b) I always remember the date and year that MLK was shot. April 4 is also my niece's b-day.
And, HEY! Go Green Bay! And Peggy Fleming!
And: I didn't know the gold reserve was no longer the national standard! WTF is it??? OMG I've been laboring under a complete LIE for, well, my entire life! Isn't this the whole point of Goldfinger? I'm so confused.
As for RFK's assassination, my father says he was probably one of the few people on the east coast to know this happened when it happened, b/c he was watching the news at that time.
