bird sightings

Wow--I just saw a ring-necked pheasant out by our bird feeders. That's definitely larger than the usual birds I'm used to seeing (the largest of which usually seem to be Blue Jays).

ok. Time for dishes.

Edit: mda says he saw the same pheasant when he left this morning, in some bushes by our house. The cats are thinking, "mmmm. pheasant eggs for a nice little afternoon snack come springtime..."

Well, there is a hunt club about 10 miles away, and I've seen pheasants there. And quails, too :) Really!
