Checkin out the new icon

ghostwes directed me toward The Ragged Trousered Philosopher website, and this image was on the sidebar,



pointing towards that fabulous site, godhatesfags.com. I love it when the schizophrenia of people's opinions are right there on the surface--no attempt to hide it whatsoever. God is love; God hates fags. It all makes perfect sense.

I'm still working my way through the post that sent me to the site in the first place. Man, god is a talky guy.

Anyway, I'm pleased that I've picked another icon, although I rarely get to comment on religious material. I suppose I could find one of an appropriate political nature, as well but I'll just have to let it jump out at me.

Edit: I want to say that I have no problems with organized religion, frequenting the Unitarian church myself. I have a problem when organized religion gets people killed.

I'm glad you're enjoying that site. Looks like there's a lot of interesting stuff. Speaking of which, I've about 40 pages left of your novel. Reading it has been a bit disjointed due to vacations and such, but I am very much enjoying it. I have about a page of notes for you, also.

I'm glad you like the book. I've haven't finished yours since I went to CA and came back sick; I've been pretty useless since Tuesday night. So it will take me longer to finish it than I first anticipated. I wrote an appendix to the book after I sent it off to you, but I don't expect you to read that.

I've tried not to look at mine much at all, except to post sections of it on momswrite2. That's for January some time (after I finish yours, definitely).

Oh--that's an appendix to my book, since I know you're written a glossary for yours!
