the Q is done, several presents have been ordered and are on their way to the place where I will spend 6 full days.

I'm going to a suburb of San Francisco tomorrow. I'm flying out and should be met at the airport by my sister, my sister-in-law, and at least my niece, if not my nephew. My niece is reeeeallly excited to see me. I can't believe I'll be seeing her, too. It's been too long. I hope I'm suitably entertaining, but I think she's probably so jazzed that she will want to entertain me, and I'm game for anything that girl puts out.

And I managed to pack my flute!

I have to remember a camera.

I just saw a hummingbird, too!

I realized that it's really restorative, but not quite as much as if it were green at home. But I'll take it.

Yeah, I've spent more than one Christmas in Florida at my aunt's house. Lots of fun at first. I like going into the pool outside on Christmas Eve. :) But it's such a shock when you come back home!

I saw Q's pre-school today, and I read to her while she was taking a bath. She can wash her hair now on her own! (My sister E mentioned that amazing fact; it didn't occur to me as something amazing)
