Swiss miss

I should work on the moonutes, but I've worked on minutes and notes for other things lately, and plus I've just been damned tired all day.

The Swiss Miss got together last night and finished putting the Convent back in order, for the most part. Then we went roller skating. I don't know about the others but I fell 3 times. Which is better than I thought I would do, but coordination has never been my strong point. Needless to say, my ass hurts and I've developed some really interesting stigmata-like bruises on my wrists from the last time I fell. Kind of cool to look at. Plus I didn't break anything or rip any cartilage, but I think that's just a matter of time (like, the next time I go roller skating--definitely, I need some knee, elbow and wrist pads, although that would mean I couldn't wear wrist bands for the copious sweat on my wrists).

We'll have to find out the rest of the lyrics, but apparently 1 of the artists in the show has kids who heard about the Swiss Miss activities in BobFest, and wrote a song entitled, "The 12 Days of Swiss Miss":

On the first day of Swiss Miss, my Mister gave to me... A bandaid for Emily's knee

On the 2nd day of Swiss Miss, my Mister gave to me... 2 tequila shots

3 tandem bikes

4 more beers...

After that, we're not sure, but "5 ruffle butts" & "6 Swiss Miss sounds" right

While we went to a bar after roller skating called the Bat Cave, and this idea came up:

Oh, and can I say that I had totally forgotten the FRINGE on chaps? That makes it even better.

That's a natural. I think that girl's wearing heels, which might not work with trying to ride a horse.

You've been there? Wait--is that the place you went with kalimama? One of the ladies in Swiss Miss had heard of it but had never been there, so when we left roller skating (in RC), she decided just to lead our two cars there.

I think I've got part of mda's birthday present idea right there--he's got to see it for its glorious batmania.

Yes, RC and it's fabulous rinks- the roller and the ice, it's soo metro, I don't know how anyone lives without them *L*

The batcave is fabulously terrible, it's my usual hang out... not just because I'm a bat-nut but for various other reasons, one being the digital jukebox. So glad it was a hit with you ladies too, tell me did you get treated to the Big N Rich "save a horse, ride a cowboy" lapdance competition that usually erupts there?

"save a horse, ride a cowboy" lapdance competition--Ah, no, we didn't see that. We were the only ones there at 10 when we went in, and 3 other people came by the time we left at 11. Must have been rare.

We'll have to get together their some time; how is your roller skating? I thought about you driving through RC, but of course I've got no idea where you live.

It's ok that you still fell. You're rolling around instead of being on solid ground. I probably would have fallen loads more times!
