standard time

I forgot that I get that entombed feeling for 10-15 days following the end of daylight savings time. The noticeable lack of sunlight makes me feel like I'm swallowed up at the bottom of a cavern. [Of course, I could try waking up when the sun rises, that would definitely do me some good, I think.]

That's another thing about not giving tours as much anymore--I'm not as aware of the sun movement as I used to be. yeah, I know, greener grass and all that. It's not criminal of me to lament the loss of some things, right?

You have had that avatar for a long time. But it took my 6-year-old to notice who it is. Just a couple weeks ago, we saw the movie that No Face is in. I am blanking on the name. Very cool film!

Spirited Away. wi_c lent it to me last year. mda & I watched it 2x in 2 nights. I saw someone else on lj with an icon from that movie, mentioned it in an e-mail to my bf, and he sent me several .gifs from the movie. No Face is so sweet, then so scary, then so sweet again.

btw, wi_c's daughter saw that movie when she was about 3 I think, and the fear she experienced at the bad points seemed to couple with her enjoyment of the movie over all, and wi_c & jujupees have commented that she now interprets fear as excitement. Interesting thing to learn at such a young age. And also the reason why she likes people to tell her "scary stories" (or she did--she might be beyond the scary story stage, now).

When the sun comes up at 7:30, it is pretty easy to get up with the sun!
I am feeling it this year, too.

Oh, and you can miss your tours all you want as far as I am concerned!

Well, I didn't loll in bed too long this morning, but I still got up after the sunrise.
