The first thing I thought was, "Didn't he already get shot?"

Reading further in the AP store, I see that he was friends with Tupac Shakur, beat up a gang rival (along w/Shakur), and is implicated in Notorious B.I.G.'s death,* so I can understand the confusion now.

Of course, I could note the other absurdity about this, which is that I've heard of the names of these people (the ubiquity of the media and all that).

*both singers I've heard of but have never heard.

Oh, I figure I'm not missing anything. Although Tupac Shakur was supposed to be pretty good.

That's why I think I like people like Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson. If they're going to get in trouble, it's for tax reasons or protesting wars or something.

I don't think that I usually feel really terrible if they want to run around and be dumb asses and shoot each other.
