Kathe Kollwitz was briefly a member of the Nazi party. Warhol was a heartless user. FLLW left his first wife and a whole lot of debt.
Man, I'm sure that list could just go on and on.
I still like some of Pollock's stuff, even though he is mostly known just for the drip paintings. Blue Poles and Lavendar Mist. He had a tremendous control of the medium.
