I did not shellac yesterday, for those of you keeping track. All of that work and using my right hand hurt the tendons along the side, though. 1 more sign of aging.

The house is a mess, I'm still pretty exhausted and I woke up this morning (female complaint alert) to some of the worst cramps I've had in years. So much that they made me nauseous. I finally relented, went downstairs, got some pepto, and went back to sleep for 3 hours.

I'm feeling listless and unmoored. Don't worry, that happens all the time.

Sorry about the cramps, man I used to get that all the time and woudn't wish it on you or anyone. Ibuprofen knocked out the cramps but not the nausea for me.

I'm actually glad you said nausea, b/c I kept telling myself that it must have been a coincidence. I don't remember getting nauseous before. I don't know why, but I kept telling myself to ignore it. I was just hoping to go back to sleep.

I often get nauseated when I have really bad cramps. I always thought that it had something to do with some other stomach problems that I have, but then I had a friend who would actually throw up for a couple of days when she had her period. (Throwing up is not normal, by the way.) And her doctor told her that sometimes all the hormones can upset your stomach. Most people just get a little queasy, and it goes away eventually.

OH! Of course. 1 of the reasons why I was refusing to move was that I was thinking it had to be "in my head". I couldn't reason out where the nausea was coming from. Makes total sense now.

I love it when you shellac, though. Hope you feel better soon.

I'm afraid you'll have to live on memories of my shellacking for a while. We're done for now inside the house.

I feel fine, thks. No cramps since yesterday morning.
