If you're coming home today, drive safely. We've got a mix of sleet & rain coming. [although precipitation chances are still only 40%].

Meanwhile, I picked up that cold that's been going around. I was planning on doing the unitarian thing today, too, but I don't think I could drive to and from very happily.

Coming home tomorrow. Weather will still suck, but road crews will have had a chance to work.

It's like a tradition that either on the way to or from the Cities we have profoundly bad weather and a near-death driving experience. I'm sort of accostomed to it.

ha. THe first time I went to the cities, by windshield wipers weren't working v. well, neither was the heat in my car, and it was in the teens below zero. At 1 point on the way back, I had to stop the car w/my friends b/c I literally couldn't see out of the front windshield.

Oh, by the way, your housemate called me up yesterday b/c she saw it was my b-day on the clan's family calendar. Awww. That was v. nice of her.

Thanks! Well, I'm on the cusp, so the next few days might be interesting. As long as it's not the flu. I kind of like getting colds--they allow me to be lazy and watch tv. They also make me feel like I'm on the kind of drugs I don't do anymore =)
