Via huckfinn. I'm trying to figure out whether this is more efficient or not:
Sending e-mail to the White House now requiring visits up to 9 different web[edit]pages.

Dear good girl magazine:

It has now been over 2 months since "candis" wrote me explaining that they're "a little late" on the submission process. Which means that it's been almost 4 months since I submitted my piece to you. A piece that, if it gets published, which I doubt, as I've never been published (well, hardly ever), I will only get a copy of the magazine.

All I asked the last time I wrote to you, candis at good girl, was whether or not you rejected my piece. I understand that you are trying to put this magazine together, and you don't need some nobody bugging you about her submission, but it's disappointing.

Stop sending me the weird dreams, already. Try sending them to mda instead.

I think this will be the last I post today, as I'm not used to doing so much at one time. Below is a story I first wrote in March 2002. It was the one I sent to This American Life, and to which I at least got a rejection letter w/a handwritten response by Star Lee Kine, one of the producers. A'course, jaaladay pointed out much later when I told her that I should have followed up on Kine's positive response. Ah well. Not doing anything means you always feel like you have the potential to succeed, instead of the knowledge of failure
