Aw, they mention the IEEE right away. I love the IEEE. I don't know what they're about, but I used to shelve their many journals back in my periodical department days.

Star Trek shouldn't be mocked. It is a future projection of current trends.
As an example, Technobabble is the cornerstone of Bush's science policies. Who knows where that'll lead...
