1. I was ambidextrous when I was a kid.
Left hand, right hand, it made no difference to me until I learned how to write. I still wish I could do that.

2. The first guy I kissed was a French con man who stole my passport.
Yep. It's one of those memories that still makes me cringe. Ah, youth.

3. I was allergic to cats until I got to college.
I've never had allergies [crosses fingers]

4. I shaved my head after I got my first tattoo and left my fiance Dave.
I've half-shaved my head at points, and I did happen to get my 1st tattoo after leaving Dave, but these 3 things are not related.

5. More girls than guys had crushes on me in high school.
Yeah. Never could figure that one out. It was kind of strange when I thought about it later.

6. I've broken both my left and my right ankles.
I broke my left ankle skiing when I was 18. That was the last time I've ever skied. I broke my right ankle when I was 26. Black ice. I was walking to school, and the first thing I thought after I heard the snapping was, "Damn! I'm gonna be late for class!"

7. I lost my virginity to a boy who lived down my block.
There were no interesting boys on my block.

8. Both of my sisters and one of my cousins are gay (although my aunt and uncle are still in denial about their son).
I have remarked on this occasionally, so it's no surprise that none of you picked that as a lie. It's a surprise when my sisters keep bugging me to get married and reproduce, however.

9. 2 men have proposed marriage to me.
Yes. Dave & Steve. The only thing I miss about Dave was the glorious ring he gave me, and the really cool old stuff we picked up at 1 point for cleaning out someone's house. Steve proposed, but I can't say we were really engaged, as he was fucking the crazy girl at the same time.

10. The first time I got drunk, I was 4 years old.
It's 1 of those stories I tell every once in awhile. My family was at a company picnic. There was a keg. Suddenly, everyone heard this banging noise, and it was me, kicking the keg b/c I couldn't get beer out of it anymore. Apparently, I just fell asleep when they stuck me in the car. I swear there are times when I have a beer, and it tastes just like it did when I was a kid.

11. I never paint my fingernails, but I paint my toenails about 4 times a year.
Yep, and nope.

12. I was a finalist in a state mathematics competition when I was in the 8th grade.
I put that in there for livsmama, just to show her that I did have proficiency in math at one point.

13. Yes, Joseph Stalin's granddaughter was a landlady of mine.
One of the weirdest, and most interesting, facts about my life.

14. My grandmother was a concert pianist who traveled around the country in the 1930s.
Close. Gramma Anne was a singer who traveled around the country in the 20s. Feels like cheating to come up w/that lie, but it's an interesting tale.

15. I went to grad school with one of the former members of the Del Fuegos.
I was suprised no one picked that one. Warren Zanes. He was a pretty cool guy. Apparently, he went on to get his Ph.D., and is producing records now. Yay! Warren!

I wouldn't have guessed 4 was a lie, because I remember the tattoo and shaving your head part, and I wouldn't have picked 8 because I knew about that, and I half-knew about 9 and I think you've mentioned 5 in here before, too. I would have picked 11 because I remembered that one. and it's really inconvenient when you have a huge list of people you read, but confuse facts about them, and you're memory's already gone to shit ... I'll know next time.
