I'm thinking too much about this rejection business. I just want to send them all flat-out rejections so I don't have to write anything. I looked at what I wrote on some of the rejection letters last time, and it was quite good. Now I can't seem to come up w/anything. I'll have to start plagiarizing some of my former replies. I don't understand why I can't just do this.

Oh, and one of the people who submitted is on livejournal. I was half-way to looking for him when I said out loud to myself, "not a good idea, Keiran." I'll find out the community he referred to, send out the rejections, then start lurking to see if he said anything bad about me. See? Just not a good idea.

I'm starting to think all this weirdness w/me is related to pms. It's certainly the right time for it. But I can't exactly wait until I get my period to send these things out.

Ok, now that I've seen it in print, your name makes so much more sense to me now. I was picturing "Kirin"; "Keiran", as in, "holy shit that's so Irish!" makes oodles of sense to me.

I still like "likethebeer", but I'm no longer mildly befuddled.

Now you think I'm totally weird. *sigh* I can cope.

I don't think you're weird. Any attention towards my name is appreciated.

I say that sentence a lot to people, "Keiran... like the beer." Unfortunately, if you know the beer, you have no problem w/the pronunciation. Other than that, you don't know what the hell I'm talking about.

You now have the best LJ name ever.

Thank you

Is there a contest?

Keiran (http://www.livejournal.com/users/keiran/) was already taken. I think it's interesting that the person who took my name has only posted once, and only the word "arse". If they were active, I might get obsessive. People just don't have my name, at least not in that spelling.

So, this whole time you just thought I liked the beer (well, of course I do, but...).

Thanks. I'll have to post this for the Wright chat site I'm in. There's a lot of debate w/people who are thinking about buying Wright homes. Some people think that they're buying a Picasso. Doesn't work like that as you can see. In a way, it should be, but it's different when you're living in it. It's a labor of love for most people (and Jeez, that woman who's spent $180,000 on restoring her house!).

I hadn't thought about the peculiarity of Usonian houses before--that they're more often in remote areas (I haven't been to many). My favorite one is target="blank">"Jacobs I" (http://www.usonia1.com/). It's about 1,300 sq. feet, 2? bedrooms, and it's a little f*cking masterpiece. Unbelieveable. And only $1.5 million!

Now try telling people it will take $60 million to restore the Taliesin estate (that includes five buildings, the landscape, and the creation of an endowment for future restoration).
