Thousands and thousands of bags stuck in the Philadelphia airport b/c the baggage handlers went on strike. They had to fly entire planes full of luggage to other airports so that they could sort the luggage. My friend, M, found out yesterday that her brother, who left tried to leave on Thursday from Chicago O'Hare, had his flight delayed by 12 hours. And then he flew to the Philly airport. He said there were all these bags from all these different flights and no one was guarding them. Luckily, he'd brought his presents in his carry-on luggage.

I would have flown into the Philadelphia airport had I gone home this x-mas. heeeee. I'm going to hvae some coffee.

More like, "I only had to get stuck in the airport for hours and hours on at least 7 occasions to finally get the hint that flying from Wisconsin to Philly in late December 'may cause delays.'" ;>

a learning curve clashing with familial obligations. That certainly slows that curve down.
