Can we just agree that Michael Jackson having 200 kids over to the Neverland ranch is, once again, one of the weirdest things in common culture today? Just had to state that.

Thank you. Every once in awhile, his weirdness (or "His Weirdness" or "Mr. Freaky Pedophilia") just strikes me. He's like Gloria Swanson, but w/bleached skin, 3 kids through artificial insemination, and a face that's falling apart, among other things.

Why would people bring their children to him??? Why???

And doesn't it freak you out that he has kids himself? What are those kids going to be like when they grow up?? And what woman was so enamored with Michael Jackson that she would agree to give up her kids to him??

As you can see, I have a lot of questions. ;)

"Why would people bring their children to him??? Why???"--That's part of the unstated weirdness that made me write the post in the first place. I know I wrote about this once before (and I usually don't obsess about MJackson), but if you took away the money and fame, he would still be so creepy. A guy in his '40s whose place is like an amusement park and he hangs around w/boys--just boys I think--no older than, like, age 12? And then there's the sleeping in bed w/them and telling people this, and not thinking there's anything wrong w/it (of course, this was before he was arrested again). I have to wonder what his family members think. Do they honestly think he's innocent?

I've managed to do some pretty good lying to myself about the philandering boyfriends I've had, but even *I*, overly trusting and somewhat naive *I* wake up eventually ;)

And, no, I can't imagine what brain chemicals are swimming around in the minds of the women who have born his children.

Especially in a world where we're so concerned about our children and what they are exposed to, you would think that these parents would be really wary of anything even hinting at impropriety.

As for the mothers of his children... They have to be mentally imbalanced...
