Unitarian? ummm

likethebeerSo I went to my 2nd Unitarian meeting today. By a different congregation closer to me. I think they need a pastor. They weren't unorganized, but they needed a little more organization, let's say. And maybe a real pianist. It was sweet, they had teenagers playing pieces on the piano (including a nice piece by Chopin), but they were like me playing the piano (when I did)--not very good. Better than me, actually, but still not very good. Then they had a speaker, talking about the interconnectedness of life. She gave a PowerPoint presentation. I think she knew what she was trying to convey, but it was a little hard to follow at times.
They have another meeting next Sunday (then on the 3rd Sunday of the month). So I'll probably try it again, then go back to the meeting house in Madison. Oh, but the hardest part was that I got there at 10 and didn't get out 'til 11:40! Makes me feel like I just went to Southern Baptist service. Of course, the congregation in Madison is an hour away, so that's a 3 hour stint, and this was over 2 1/2. I don't want time to dictate where I'll be going, but at this point I need to go someplace where I don't have to give a lot of myself. I need to "get" for the moment. I'll think about giving later. Sounds very selfish of me, but I'm not going to dive into something I'm still sorting out.
