Went out to dinner w/our friends N&M, and their friend, J. Good thing--we don't have to cook or clean up. Bad thing(s): no leftovers and no stuffing & cranberry/orange relish like I like to have. The food was surprisingly good, and N paid for most of the meal w/gift certificates that he receives for playing there throughout the summer. That was a nice surpise (we helped to pick up the tip).

mda's mom called. They got 10" of snow. We have the possibility for light snow, although by the radar, it might skim right over us. I called my parents, but they were still out, and, as is often the case, they did not have the answering machine on. They are technophobes, to some extent. Occasionally they make noises about getting a computer for going on-line, but I've taken myself out of that discussion. There's just so much they don't understand that unless they made the effort to learn, they will be hopelessly lost [even if they use AOL].

With the books read from the library, I've nothing new to read. i could work on editing the book, but I'm not sure if I'm up to it at the moment. Let's say that I keep thinking "should" while the rest of me says, "I don't wanna."
