they're trying to be optimistic here. they've put a sunny face on wednesday, but surrounded it by gray and dark charcoal clouds today and thursday. I've lived here longer than my weatherman has been alive. I don't think we're going to see it.

Doesn't sound good, no. Sometimes, in the winter, I swear the weather-people are fooling us into believing it will be warmer tomorrow so there's no rioting in the streets (not that we'd be very effective--how much does it hurt to get hit by someone wearing big, fluffy gloves?)
