I heard back from the editor-in-chief, who told me that the stories I passed on to him were right on the money, for the most part. He said there were 2 that he would have rejected, but the rest he thought were good. Out of those remaining, he said 1 or 2 were really good.

This is helpful. I was nervous in contemplating what he liked in a story, and what he thought would pass mustard for the on-line magazine.

Hooray for positive feedback. Editing/compiling must be hard. That was positive feedback, right? Does he veto the two he would have rejected?

Dude. You said "pass mustard"!

That could be painful...

It was positive feedback. He was pretty pleased. He has final editing say over what gets into the list. Then he, myself and his partner will sit down w/the last ones and make our choices from those.

I'm getting back to work, now.
