I love the last line, "The art chose the words." Bullshit. You were lazy and responsible and couldn't be bothered to do the job right.
My other fav quote? "The mistakes wouldn't even register with a true artisan, Alquilar said before deciding to leave the work as is."
"True artisan" must equal "moron who can't spell or be botheredto do a good job".
My lit profs would give her a C+, with the notation: good content and sound ideas, but with obvious and avoidable errors that a high school student would notice and correct.
wow--I didn't realize it made it up that far. I thought I picked up something rather obscure.
I told mda that I could understand that she received hate mail, b/c if I were a hate mail kind of person I would write her and tell she's an idiot and a bitch. Terrible, I know, but it's kind of senseless.
I am aware of my poor spelling - so I look stuff up when it's important. Perhaps an artist who is creating VERY public art works could manage to do the same. Man - What a dork.
In a way, I can understand how something like this could happen. You can look at spelling mistakes a dozen times sometimes and not see them. But her reaction just gets me, and that's part of the ignorance. She sounds like she's over compensating for her embarrassment. I can't imagine what this is going to do to her career, now that I think about it.
