I woke up a little while ago
ground some Ethiopian beans in the new Euro-grinder for coffee. We're starting to get the hang of it.
read a little of Salon: a review of the newest John Waters movie and a report from Iraq from a man who's been there since before the war began, Philip Robertson. The story is called "Hell," to give you an idea of what he's experiencing.
Then I came here, and was thinking aobut looking for any posts by [livejournal.com profile] mrmustard. Well, he's gone again. I'll try not to get so excited next time.

I'm in the market for a new grinder. How do you like yours?

It's pretty cool. It has grind levels for espresso, drip and French press. It was v.expensive. mda got it b/c he works for a coffee distributor and could get it wholesale. Still it was $80.

Then again, my friend picked up a hand grinder on ebay for about $10.

50 cents, that's admirable. Still, the grinder is very sleek looking and has made a difference in the non-blended coffees that mda brings home. Hey, if you're going to have some Ethiopian, might as well make it as good as possible.
