Fuck--this new way to update does not suit my Mozilla-on-Linux configuration here. Some of the writings gets shoved up to the top, scrunched all together. But it's pretty looking.

Why have we been graced with his presence again? I was asked to put in a user name & password, and gave a password that I don't use for here the first time, then my password the 2nd time I was prompted, thinking there was a trick to it. I hope he's not stealing my journal. Fuck. I should change the password.

That's 2 fucks in 1 post.

And there's been some heartbreak in lj-land. Life is so stupid sometimes.

Sean Driscoll is your arch-nemisis?

Heartbreak stinks.

Just being careful. I don't think he's an arch-nemisis, more of a person I'd really like to have a couple of beers with.

Feelings suck. You get your hopes up, and then dashed, then you have that sickening-thud sensation in your stomach when you try to sleep. In my case, I hold my security blanket tight to my chest when that happens.

Ah yes, who hasn't had their body-cavity emptied by someone who cares.

I could ask the bf. Oh, problem is, this computer has Redhat, and it hasn't been updated in awhile. mda is going to make a change to debian, but he wants to make sure we won't be too incovenienced by the change over. I think his upgrade to Redhat 8 was about 10 hours of work to get all the settings right, and the printers working. Also, this computer works as our firewall and router.

This is your home computer, right?

Well, I've not experienced a blue-screen-of-death at home in 2+ years, so it can be fun for me. mda has a good time w/it, and the other computers in the 2nd floor of our garage.

This repetitious posting that's been occurring reminds me of a bad acid trip. Sorry if this shows up in your inbox 14 times. That's the way it seems to be going.

But, hey, it makes me look popular to the outsiders.

your deal?

Well, and you try to tell yourself that we don't really know each other, but it still is a connection that takes some mental work to process.

Glad you're doing ok.

I know connections happen, but it's different when all we have to convey emotion are emoticons and capital letters. It's different than seeing the pen pressure on the page and underlines.

It's different

From: [identity profile] erisreg.livejournal.com
having done both, yes i understand that,.

neither is the same as the nuance of eye to eye,..

we do what we can, i guess,..

Sometimes the eye to eye is too much. Although before the heartbreak there was another incident over the cyper-world in which I *knew*, had I been talking to the person face to face, I would have responded in a kinder manner.

Then again, I'm not always kind.

not always kind.

we all have it in us,.. but i try to stay more on the kind side, otherwise things get looking like ground zero, nobody wins,..o.0
