Patrick Stewart's reaction to being mistakenly 'outed' as gay by the Guardian

This has to do with the a piece after actress Ellen Page came out. Here's their correction:

This article was amended on 17 February 2014. The third paragraph originally said 'Some gay people, such as Sir Patrick Stewart, think Page's coming out speech is newsworthy'. This should have read 'Some people, such as Sir Patrick Stewart, think Page's coming out speech is newsworthy'.

Yes, when talking about officiating there's always that problem. immemor told me about one time when he had a female friend who was going to theology school to become a minister, and he said, "Oh! Would you marry me?" and she was very confused & apologetic, "well, I don't... I mean, you're nice, but, um... we don't know each other that well, and, um...." until he explained that he just was asking her if someday in the future she would perform the ceremony.

It's a 21st Century problem I guess: so many of us have a story about a friend who officiated at a wedding, and "he married so & so" is confusing. And now Patrick Stewart does! Nee-ha!
