Using a take-off from Lady Gaga's song, "Bad Romance":

I was reminded by this because my 10 year old niece just saw Holiday Inn for the first time & her mind was blown by the casual sexism. Girl needs to learn about suffrage.

Ozzie and Harriet: "Worrying About Worrying" 12/12/48
Ozzie gets all worried about worrying is all jerky with his worry. Or, is he just f-ing with his family? And why does he remind me of mda's dad? Interesting thought....

I wonder if Ozzie and Harriet are the models for lots of "dumb sitcom" families.
Richard Diamond: "The Blue Serge Suit" 12/09/51
Someone keeps stealing blue serge suits.

Richard Diamond gets knocked unconscious a lot. At least once an episode. I wonder if they could do that today, what with everything that's known about concussions.

.... wow - they were using Blue Serge material to get security information to the Iron Curtain. Looks like the international spies chose the wrong people to work with - some regular Joes who spilled everything when 1 guy got shot (not even life threatening - you know that with these shows, b/c the person is always gasping & speaking slowly before kicking off).
Whistler: "The Other Hand" 12/09/51
Huh - the episodes from both Richard Diamond & the Whistler come from the same night. It just has a way to bring you closer to when it was first broadcast.

Guy snuck out of a sanatorium & later kills a girl with a candlestick. That used to happen a lot (that and pushing people down and their heads hitting the floor).

And, good thing, the woman who he "ran" into (and killed with the candlestick) had slipped him a slow-acting poison - so, he kills someone & gets killed, which is how that stuff goes (particularly with The Whistler. And the woman who killed him, died, too.
The Black Museum "The Center-Fire Bullet" 1952
Orson Welles going over things in a Scotland Yard museum of items used in murder.
Journey Into Space: "Operation Luna, Part 10" 11/23/53
Yay! They haven't played this in a few weeks.

Huh - there are space travelers that these guys from Operation Luna have found out what has been screwing with them for the previous 10 episodes: an alien race that escaped its solar system before the sun went to a red giant stage, then came to the earth in the past to colonize it. Then they have to leave because there is something on the earth that will destroy their race....

Jesus christ, Lemmie - shut up! [he's the guy who's constantly complaining and saying they should leave where ever they are.] . . . . And, they ended up on a cliffhanger, so all I know is that Lemmie went running off.
