Yesterday was my first foray into lawn mowing for the season with the push reel mower. I'm still not done but, darn, this really does take me a long time to do, so this morning I bought a battery powered an electric lawn mower on Amazon. $150 - it's plugged in, so that's what makes it cheaper. I bought a cord reel & I bought an extension cord last year so I'm good there.
For the last year I've been puzzling over getting a plugged in/battery powered lawn mower.
"Well, yes, it has no gasoline fumes but it's still charged/plugged in and the power station is making pollution.... blah blah blah blah, fade off into the distance with your endless futzing....,"
But dammit mowing takes me a while - hours & I'm not done - & I don't like the thought of having to spend hours of every week doing this unsuccessfully.
