all right, it's 2:30
Jul. 16th, 2005 02:31 pmWhere's my Harry Potter.
And, uh yeah, I've read 4 of the 5 books in the last week and a half? mda keeps coming out to me on the back deck, looking at my page numbers, and saying, "You're a machine!" I've started to squawk that his characterization is starting to annoy me. "yeah, yeah, yeah, I know... machine... blah, blah, blah..." That's backed it off a little bit.
But I've been a good girl today. Laundry, and vaccuuming the vast amounts of kitty hair that covered everything, as mda noted last night, like a patina. oy. I don't think we've vaccuumed since my parents visited. That's an embarrasingly long time.
ok, off for smoky-treats. Maybe the book will be here when I get back. "A watched pot..." and all that.
Edit: I take that back--WHile out for cigs, I went to my friendly, neighborhood post office (where I have a po box). I'd forgotten the book was being sent by USPS. I'm about to unwrap HP6. I'll see you guys in a few days.
