Jul. 15th, 2003 11:09 pmMda just made dinner for the third night in a row. And he is getting really good at working the grill. I helped with the dishes, at least.
Our water system is acting funky. Shower not draining, while the sink gurgles.
I am starting to read Hullabaloo in the Guava Orchard, which I only picked out of the library stacks because the first name of the woman who wrote it is Kiran (and the spell check offers me Keriann and Kerianne, two names I have never seen before). It is actually looking really good so far--Salmon Rushdie gave it a good back blurb, too. Also finished HP5 for the second time yesterday, and am threatening to reveal who dies to mda if he does not start on it soon.
Speaking of books not started or finished--yes, C&M finally finished the copy of Cryptonomicon that mda lent to them over 2 years ago! Hopefully we will be able to talk about it soon. And, of course, they have to know that I would bring this up, since tormenting them about the book has been a pastime of mine for the past 6 months.
